The King Institute for Faith & Culture is holding an event at the museum on November 3 at 7.00pm, with a reception begining at 6:30.
The event begins with a showing of the 16-minute documentary film
The Change Baker, which has won some
awards already, followed by a discussion with King alumnus
Manolo Betancur (the subject of the film) and director
Courtney Dixon. Manolo's connection to Bristol, and his success as a baker (his North Carolina bakery was just rated
#2 cake shop in the country by USA Today), and his commitment to helping community make this a wonderful free communtiy event.
